Step 1
Make a pattern consisting of three parts: a one-piece bottom, a side and a dimensional strip of fabric, which is also called a pots or band. The parameters of this particular detail determine the size of the beret hat. The length of the pots is equal to the girth of the head, the width is determined independently, depending on the chosen model.
Step 2
Cut out two circles. In the lower circle, cut a round hole in the center, the diameter of which should be half the diameter of the main circle. Fold the circle and part with the hole right over. Stitch the cuts along the entire circumference. Sweep seam allowances together. Fold the strip in half and grind the vertical cuts. Then attach the finished band of rim to the circles sewn together and sweep along the circular opening. Stitch, overcast seam allowances together.
Step 3
To make the beret hat look complete and keep its shape, sew it with a lining that is cut out according to the main shape. Sew the lining and top details for the circle and the side separately. Iron the seams and from the right side of the garment lay the stitch along the seam seam. If a thin fabric is chosen for the beret, it is better to glue it with non-woven fabric. The cache-pins or sides can be decorated with rhinestones, brooches, feathers or other trimmings.
Step 4
When making a fur beret hat, do not forget to take into account the direction of the pile. He must always "look" in one direction. Do not iron the seam allowances, but gently straighten them. Carefully straighten out the villi that stick out of the seams with a needle. Join the fur part with the lining with a blind stitch. If you decide to make a flower pots out of leather, make the inside of it out of the main fabric. You can also make the main top circle of the beret hat with wedges. This cut is especially effective for a mink beret. Drap, if you have chosen it for sewing, be sure to steam it before opening.
