April 19, 1960 in Cesena (Italy) in a family far from the world of culture and art, the future popular actress was born. From the very childhood, the girl showed remarkable artistic abilities, which is why, after graduating from the lyceum in her hometown, she moved to Rome to study at the National Academy of Dramatic Art.
In 1980, two significant events took place at once in the life of Nicoletta Braschi. At this time, as a university student, she began acting in films and met her future husband. The debut picture was filmed in the super 8 format, and therefore its mention in the official filmography of the actress is usually absent.
Creative career of an actress
In 1982, Braschi appeared on the set for the first time in the film project of Roberto Benigni. It is with the painting "You Confuse Me" that the joint creative path of these gifted people begins. In this comedy film, which consists of four parts, the director is uncomplicated thinking about the divine beginning of all that exists. This film project became the debut in the work of Benigni and was very enthusiastically received by the entire domestic cinematographic community.

Particularly interesting turned out to be a film project by American director Jim Jarmusch with the participation of Nicolletta Braschi "The Mysterious Train", where she appeared on the set as Louise. The storyline of this movie is based on three stories that take place in Memphis.
In the second novel, entitled "The Ghost," the character of Braschi (Louise) accompanies the coffin with the body of his late husband to Rome from Memphis airport.
