Surveillance cameras today are used not only in enterprises, offices or shops, but also in apartments. Video surveillance can be very useful in emergencies not only for you, but also for your neighbors. Surveillance cameras must be hidden from prying eyes using camouflage. This is done not only so that scammers or thieves who decide to get into your house do not notice and neutralize it, but also so that the cameras do not become the subject of entertainment for vandals.
Instructions
Step 1
Camcorder camouflage depends on its size and model. Today, there are many types of cameras that do not need to be hidden on their own, but it is enough just to fix at the desired point so that its location does not arouse suspicion. This applies to models made in the form of a lamp, bolt or door peephole. The disadvantage of such equipment is the price. In addition, light cameras are often used in supermarkets and can attract attention in doorways because many people know what they look like.
Step 2
The easiest way is to self-mask a pin-hole camera that has an external pupil of the entrance. The use of such a camera makes it possible to reduce the hole diameter required for shooting to one millimeter. The pin-hole model can be installed in any hole in the wall, ceiling, platband or door trim. They are also often located in switchboards, fire or burglar alarm panels. Such cameras are also disguised as buttons or screw heads.
Step 3
Other camcorders can shoot in the dark, you need to install additional lighting or an infrared diode outside the light filter.
Step 4
Another option for such masking is to use a grid, and the ratio between the thickness of the rods and the size of the holes between them should be minimal, otherwise the camera will focus on the grid.
Step 5
When disguising the camera, remember to hide the wires as well, if it is not a wireless model.
Step 6
Also remember that the image quality of your video is important to you, so don't get carried away with masking the lens.
Step 7
It is quite difficult to install a CCTV camera on your own, so it is better to hire professional installers who will connect your camera and hide it from prying eyes.
