However, despite the clear adherence to gameplay traditions, many elements can scare off inexperienced players as incomprehensible and difficult.

Step 1
The main characteristic of your city is the “motivation” of the population. This parameter reflects the level of happiness of the inhabitants and does not affect anything in the intermediate state. However, if the contentment rises high enough, you will receive a bonus in the form of increased worker speed - the whole city will start moving a little faster. The opposite effect is also possible: if you do not follow the needs of the population, everyone will work less willingly, or even become bandits. The problem of crime is solved by building a police station - as a rule, one employee is enough in it.
Step 2
The subordinates in the game are rather stupid and automatically do almost no action. For example, to get food it is not enough to create a dozen “gatherers”, you also need to indicate to them the area to be processed. Hunters (bring close to the game) and troops (remind if you were attacked) behave similarly. The exception, however, is made by porters, who start construction automatically.
Step 3
Almost every building in the game requires maintenance personnel. So, when you create a laboratory to study any improvement, you will need to pre-fill the building with a neutral population - they will turn into workers. In addition, the building will slowly destroy your stock of resources, so in some situations they can be disabled (withdraw workers). The same laboratories, for example, are absolutely useless when all the upgrades are studied.
Step 4
Use diplomacy actively. If a neighboring race has an embassy, you can make peace with them after the attack (by sending a certain amount of gifts along with a diplomat). In addition, you can trade with states that are peaceful to you, quickly obtaining the resources you need. It is ineffective to feud with everyone at once - it is much more correct to remove opponents one at a time.
Step 5
Ants (ants) from a military point of view of combat are the most powerful race in the game. If you prefer a guaranteed and quick victory, then the best tactic is blitzkrieg: starting the game, create 3-4 hunters as quickly as possible and send them to the opponents' city halls - only those players who expect such a development of events will be able to accept the battle (although even in this case, victory not guaranteed to them).
