It is necessary

  • - cosmetics;
  • - cotton pads:
  • - brushes;
  • - acrylic paints;
  • - varnish.

Instructions

Step 1

While the plastic from which the doll is made has not yet hardened, the toy can be tinted with ordinary decorative cosmetics. Choose a blush or powder that is slightly darker than the doll's skin color. Apply them with a fluffy, soft natural bristle brush. Add shadows on the cheeks closer to the hairline, on the temples, chin and on the sides of the nose at the level of the bridge of the nose. Feather the color so that the edges of the spots are not visible. Rub the blush with a piece of felt without applying too much pressure to the material, otherwise marks may remain on the plastic.

Step 2

Apply blush of red or coral color to the doll's lips, with pink emphasize the cheeks, collarbones, knees and elbows - so the skin will look more vibrant.

Step 3

You can paint your face brighter with acrylic paint. It is best to do this after the toy has completely hardened (firing or self-hardening, depending on the type of polymer clay). Color the eyes. apply a light shade of acrylic all over the iris. When the paint is dry, add a darker border. Do the same around the pupil. While the coating is still wet, stretch the color with "rays" out to the sides of the pupil. Add a color to the pupil, and when it dries, paint a highlight on the doll's eyes. Secure the paint with varnish. Glossy is suitable for eyes and eyebrows, matte for other parts of the doll.

Step 4

To create costumes for dolls, you can understand the rules for cutting out ordinary human clothing. Then, taking into account the parameters of the doll, create several basic patterns: trousers, a straight two-seam skirt, a blouse. They can be changed and supplemented, creating a variety of models.

Step 5

If detailed calculations seem boring to you, improvise. Try to sew the outfit directly on the doll, on a living thread. Attach the toy to the fabric, circle it, cut it out, taking into account the 2 cm allowance. Then combine the front and back sides of the pattern on the doll and baste. The most successful models can be dissolved and transferred to polyethylene or paper to preserve the pattern.
