Many people remember from childhood an entertaining puzzle "Snake", invented by the inventor Erne Rubik. It consists of a series of triangles that can rotate relative to each other. It is very easy to make such a puzzle.
It is necessary
- Modeling material that hardens when exposed to high temperatures (plastic).
- Long, durable cylindrical elastic.
Instructions
Step 1
Sculpt a bar 24 cm long from plastic. The cross-section of the bar should be in the shape of a square with a side of 2 cm. Make markings along the entire length of the bar, dividing it into 12 equal segments (2 cm each).
Step 2
Divide the bar diagonally into two equal parts. Two rectangular prisms are obtained (with sides of 2, 2 and 4 cm, respectively, and 24 cm long). Then cut both prisms according to the pre-made marks, as a sausage is cut. You should get 24 identical prisms.
Step 3
In each prism, make two holes in the sides at right angles to them. The holes should connect inside the prism, but not protrude outward. Remember that the rubber band must pass through these holes, connecting the parts.
Step 4
Bake the resulting prisms in the oven at a temperature no higher than 130 degrees and no longer than 30 minutes.
Step 5
After the prisms have cooled down, color them and connect them together with an elastic band. Fasten the elastic at the ends. Enjoy the toy you received.
