The feeder is a bottom fishing tackle. The name comes from the English word "feeder", which means "feeding". That is, it is a bottom rod with a feeder, which allows you to deliver a certain amount of feed to the fishing point with each cast.

Step 1
First, you need to inspect the reservoir to which you arrived and choose a place convenient for fishing. It should be a wide free bank, with a minimum of bushes, no trees and tall grass, so that you can set the rods on the stands and sit comfortably. You also need to make sure that during possible fishing the fishing rods do not catch on each other.
Step 2
If you have already been to this place, and you are familiar with the bottom relief, you can start fishing. If not, you need to conduct "reconnaissance". To do this, attach a sinker to the main line (you do not need to tie a leash) and make a series of fan casts. By the time it takes for the lead to reach the bottom, you can determine the depth and possible bottom drops. After a possible promising place has been determined, a mark should be made on this length of the line so that subsequent casts are made as accurately as possible.
Step 3
Then you need to prepare the groundbait. Bait is different, depending on the type of fish you are going to catch. Breadcrumbs, sugar biscuits, corn flour, ground hemp seeds, coconut flakes can be used in the groundbait. All this needs to be mixed in a different ratio, and this bait not only feeds the fishing spot, but also stuffs the feeder trough when casting.
Don't forget to add your bait, maggot or worm to the groundbait. The density of the bait depends on the current in the given reservoir. The faster the flow, the thicker you need to knead the bait, or add sticky substances to it.
Step 4
After the tackle is collected, you need to tightly fill the feeder with bait, put a nozzle on the hook, and throw the feeder. If it does not bite for 10 minutes, the tackle can be re-thrown (unless you are catching large, careful fish, for example, tench or carp).
If, after biting, the fish cannot be quickly hooked, it is worth correcting the length of the leash. Conversely, if the nozzle is constantly overeating, and the bite is not visible, then the leash should be made shorter.
