Bread as bait has been rarely used lately. But meanwhile, even a small piece can even catch carp, since many fish love these flour products. The main thing is to know how to do it.
It is necessary
a loaf of bread (white or loaf)
Instructions
Step 1
Until a few decades ago, bread was one of the most commonly used fishing baits. The fact is that bread products swell in water and hide a hook on which the fish ultimately bites well enough.
Step 2
Avid fishermen usually take at least three to four chopped loaves with them for a good bite. Some crumbs float or sink in the water, creating a kind of pillar, in the center of which your bait will be. For larger fish, this pole is not as important compared to your hook bait, which will essentially be the only essential food for the future catch.
Step 3
It is believed that bread easily falls off the hook. Professionals easily solve this problem by creating a kind of keg from several slices of it. To do this is quite simple, first place two or three small pieces on top of each other. Then, using an extension needle, pull the keg out of the die cut, and pass the needle itself through the small loop of the hair rig. Then you need to move the keg onto the line and adjust its position with the stopper.
Step 4
If you do not want to be content with a small catch, then it is better to use not the crumb, but the crust for bait. It tends to float up, so it’s easiest for you to fish from the surface. A good bait can come from the crust of a whole loaf, but before that it needs to be “marinated” in a plastic bag for two or three days to give it more elasticity, which will allow it to stay on the hook for a long time.
Step 5
Some fishing enthusiasts go further and create the bait in the form of peculiar sandwiches. They are much more attractive to a potential victim in the event that white bread is used (which is perfectly visible in water) and a filling of a completely different color (you can use worms, corn, etc.).
Step 6
Bread flakes are most commonly used for fishing. Making them is as easy as shelling pears: you just need to break off a small piece from a roll or loaf. But at the same time, the bait must be slightly squeezed around the forearm, then it will soak in the water to an impressive size and attract the attention of the fish.
