Billionaire Oligarch is one of the types of economic board games. However, this is not another clone of "Monopoly" and "Millionaire", this is an independent interesting game that will teach not only the basic intricacies of business, but will also help to feel at home in the world of big money.
Instructions
Step 1
The number of players is from 2 to 6, the game is played on the playing field clockwise or counterclockwise according to the players' choice. Each participant is assigned a game card, a chip of a certain color. In addition, each player receives 6 property cards of the same color. A banker is elected by a general vote to oversee the execution of financial transactions.
Step 2
Before the start of the game, each participant receives 25,000 credits (play money) of the initial capital. If, as the game progresses, the number of credits in the bank ends, and the game is not over yet, the banker can write checks.
Step 3
The banker always goes first, the further order is chosen by the players themselves. Everyone chooses a certain strategy for himself: extraction of raw materials, production and sale of goods. The player who earned the maximum amount of money wins, and he gets the title of oligarch.
Step 4
The playing field consists of sectors, entering which requires certain actions from the player or all players. There are several such sectors: nature conservation, overproduction crisis, licensing committee, tax inspection, oligarch, bank, stock exchange, raw materials extraction, production, sales and market.
Step 5
The stop of one of the participants in the "Nature Conservation" sector prohibits the extraction of raw materials for all players without exception, as there are measures to protect the environment. A player entering the "Overproduction Crisis" sector blocks the rest of the production of any goods.
Step 6
A player intending to trade a specific product must purchase a retail license. This is possible provided that he has a store. To buy a license, you need to enter the “Bank” sector and pay 10,000 credits for a sale in a simple store and 50,000 in a hypermarket.
Step 7
When one of the participants enters the "Licensing Committee" sector, everyone is obliged to surrender their licenses to the bank, because the property is re-registered. You can buy a license again when you enter the "Bank" field. It is possible to trade without a license, but only in the "Exchange" sector.
Step 8
If one of the participants stops in the “Tax Inspection” sector, everyone must pay a tax amount equal to 10% of cash to the bank.
Step 9
The Oligarch sector is the most democratic of all, you can stay in it for as long as you like, unlike other sectors where you cannot be more than one move in a row. Here you can conclude any deals with other players, except for the purchase and sale of licenses.
Step 10
The Bank Sector is run by a banker. When you enter it, you can carry out financial transactions, including the sale of goods, the purchase / sale of a license, take / return a loan, etc. A loan can be taken at any turn, for this you just need to enter the "Bank" field and from the next move interest will be charged on the amount at a certain rate. The credit must be repaid up to and including turn 20, otherwise the participant will be declared bankrupt and will be out of the game.
Step 11
A player who has entered the "Extraction of raw materials" sector and has a corresponding enterprise receives from the banker as many raw materials as indicated on the raw material card. Having extracted raw materials, the participant can produce goods from them and subsequently sell them.
Step 12
In the "Production" sector, the player produces goods in the quantity indicated on the goods card. If he has his own store or hypermarket, then in the “Sales” sector, the participant can sell the goods, subject to the availability of a license. The number of goods sold is also indicated on the card. If there is no license, then sales can only be made in the "Exchange" sector.
Step 13
In the "Market" sector, all transactions with real estate are carried out - by mining, manufacturing or marketing companies. The amount for the purchase / sale of the enterprise is transferred to the banker.
