Instructions
Step 1
Cast on 192 stitches and knit a row of crochet stitches, orienting the knitting line down from the waistline. Mark the fourteenth column of the first row with a contrasting thread for future additions. Also mark the thirtieth column, which will be on the side, and it will become a guide for you in knitting an openwork pattern, the scheme of which you can previously find on the Internet.
Step 2
From the side column, mark the thirtieth column for additions again, then mark the twenty-first column - you will also knit a lace pattern on it. Based on the marks made, add in every second row above the marked loops.
Step 3
To start, add the loops eight times one column at a time, and on the back of the shorts - ten times one column at a time. In the center of the back next to the two center posts, add one post 16 times at a height of 10 cm.
Step 4
Work in two center stitches with four simple stitches in each row. Make such additions three times, and then tie the openwork pattern according to the scheme. Knit to the end of the row.
Step 5
On the front of the shorts, at a height of 16 cm in every second row, add four times one column, and then divide the knitted fabric at the back and front. Continue to knit the shorts with the lace pattern separately, knitting nine rows.
