Making a shadow in Photoshop is not difficult at all, but this technique is often needed and brings many images to life.

Step 1
Shadow often makes an image more expressive, and it also helps to convey a realistic sense of space.
Open the image in which you want to make a shadow.
It is necessary to select the object that will cast the shadow. If it is on a uniform background that is different from the colors of the object itself, then you can use the "magic wand" tool by "clicking" it on the background, and then invert the selection using the Select - Inverse command. Select the object manually using the Lasso tool if the background of the picture is not uniform.
It is convenient to select objects of complex shape with the Pen tool. To do this, first outline the silhouette for which you want to make the background, then right-click on this outline and select Selection from the Make menu.
Step 2
From the top menu choose Edit - Copy or Ctrl + C.
Create a new layer, paste the image from the.eathf exchange using (Edit - Paste) or Ctrl + V.
Duplicate the newly created layer using Layer - Dublicate layer.
For the future shadow, you first need to highlight the silhouette. To do this, select the middle layer in the layers panel, hold down the Ctrl key and left-click on it.
After the silhouette is selected, you need to fill it with black. This is done using the menu: Edit - Fill, then select black.
Remove the selection from the silhouette with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + D.
Step 3
Press Ctrl + T and while holding down the Ctrl key move the shadow to the surface on which it should be as a result. Press Enter to confirm the changes.
Add shadows with transparency, for example, set 40% transparency to the shadow layer.
Swap the shadow layer and the art layer so that the shadow is in the background.
Step 4
Add some shadows to the blur so that it is not too clear. To do this, in the upper menu select Filter, - Blus - Gaussian Blur. Set the blur radius to 2-3 pixels.
