Board game "Businessman" will help you develop your business skills and acquire financial management skills. The game is designed for people of all ages. Even children will be able to learn from it a lot of useful things: to learn concentration, improve the count and develop memory.

Basic rules of the game

The aim of the "Businessman" game is to take possession of the largest number of firms and enterprises and to ruin your competitors.

From 2 to 6 people can take part in the game. Game details are laid out in their respective places in the middle of the field. Promotions and cards with the designation of various companies are laid out in the cells of the playing field specially designated for them. Players choose their chips, receive 1 share of each color and an initial credit of 250,000 tokens.

One of the participants in the game must take on the duties of a banker. Then it is necessary to distribute to the players 3 large and 4 small Exchange cards. Determine who will start the game and set the order of moves. Then put all the chips on the "Start" position and roll the dice. The resulting sum of points will determine how many cells the player who rolls the first die will have to advance. The next turn will start from the place where his piece stopped the last time. And so in turn.

During the game, offers for the sale, mortgage, exchange and purchase of real estate will have to come from the player whose turn came to roll the dice. Throughout the game, the chips can move around the perimeter of the playing field several times. Each time, passing the "start" position, the participant will receive 20,000 credits from the bank.

Empty lot

The cell on which the participant of the game stopped can be purchased at a certain price (it is indicated at the bottom of the card). It can also be sold to another player for a premium that suits both.

The player who takes possession of the empty lot must take the ownership card onto the field. He will be able to start building enterprises only after he has bought up all the empty plots of the same color. On each site, you can build a branch first, and then an enterprise, having paid their cost in full.

Branch and business tokens may not be enough for all players. In this case, you need to wait until one of the participants returns them to the bank.

Opponent's plot

If a player stops at a site that already belongs to someone, he must pay the owner a rental. Its prices are indicated on the site itself. If the player has already collected all the plots of the same color, the rent will be doubled. A player may forget to demand a rental fee from another participant before the next die roll. In this case, the rent will no longer be charged.

Each player can make profitable deals with other participants in the game. Purchased cells can be exchanged and sold. So it will be easier for you to get a set of plots of the same color for the further construction of enterprises and branches on them.

The cells of the playing field

The "Penalty" box means that you must pay 30,000 credits to the bank. The "Win" cell will replenish your piggy bank by 40,000. "Profit" will give you as many as 50,000 credits. If you get to the "Gift" cell, you will receive 3 shares of any color as a reward.

Getting on the cells "Surprise" or "Notice", you must remove the top card from the corresponding pile and perform the actions described in it. Then place the card under the stack. If you get a "Play on the stock exchange" card, keep it until you fulfill this condition.

Exchange

To be able to play on the exchange, you need:

- pull out the corresponding card;

- roll the dice with a score of 3: 3;

- get to cells 3 (motorway), 10, 25, 50 and 52;

- get to the "Broker" cell (in this case, the player must pay 1000 credits for the service).

The participant of the game who got to the "Exchange" can buy additional shares (4 of each color) and sell the securities he already has to other players. The initial value of the shares is 10,000 credits. One cell on the "Exchange" scoreboard is valued at 1000 credits.

The player must show any of the cards he has. Large cards make it possible to increase the price of stocks of the desired color by 10 points, as well as reduce the value of stocks of other colors. Deuce cards can increase and decrease the value of shares of only one color.

Small cards are divided into two groups: those that decrease the value of the stock and those that, on the contrary, increase it. A player who decides to increase the price of shares of one color will simultaneously lower the value of other shares by the number of points indicated on the card.

Changes in share prices should be displayed on the "Stock Exchange" board. To do this, it is necessary to rearrange the chips of the corresponding color by the number of points that changed the initial value of the shares.

After changing the price of assets, the player must pay the difference between their previous and new values to the bank. This difference must be multiplied by the number of stocks of the desired color.

The player who presents the card that reduces the value of his shares, the bank must pay compensation from the difference between the old and new value of the shares, multiplied by the number of assets of the corresponding color.

If a player, increasing the value of shares, has exceeded the maximum allowable value on the scoreboard, his chip is moved to position 25. In this case, other players will receive compensation in the form of the difference between the maximum value on the scoreboard and the real value of assets. The compensation is multiplied by the number of shares of the same color. Let's say the old stock price is 23 pips. This price was increased by 10 points. Then the compensation will be 8 (23 + 10-25 = 8).

If a player lowers the value of shares and at the same time goes beyond the lower limit on the scoreboard, then as compensation he will receive only the difference between the previous value of the shares and the new minimum price for them. For example, the old stock price was 3 points. The player lowered it by 5 points. Its compensation in this case will be equal to 2 (3-1 = 2). The rest of the players must deposit the specified amount of credits into the bank. In this case, the chip is set to the minimum value.

If the shares were reduced by 2 times, and their previous value was equal to 1 point, then the player who presented these shares will not receive compensation. The rest of the game participants will have to deposit 50,000 credits into the bank for each share of that color.

The player must pay fines only in cash. It is prohibited to use the funds that he invested in shares. If a player runs out of free credits, and he needs to pay a fine, he must mortgage or sell his property to the bank.

Bank

The "Bank" performs the following functions:

- buys and sells shares;

- gives out profit from playing on the Exchange;

- gives out winnings on shares;

- issues loans and takes real estate of players on collateral;

- transfers funds across the border (from box 25 to 52).

Hotel

Once on the position called "Hotel", the player can:

- buy a company abroad by throwing dice and making 1 move along the small perimeter;

- play the roulette wheel 3 times or on the stock exchange 1 time.

Customs

To travel to work abroad, you must pay 10,000 credits to go through customs. In addition, it will be necessary to sell half of its shares to the bank at their actual value. Crossing the border to the small perimeter of the field, you will be required to pay 5000 credits to the bank for every purchase you make abroad.

Roulette

Roulette can be played an unlimited number of times. You will need to walk clockwise starting from the "Entry" position. If you stop at the "To the bank" cell, you will receive 200,000 credits as a reward. After that, you must exit the roulette wheel. You can also leave the game by stopping at any "exit" square.

Motorway

The movement on the expressway must proceed in accordance with the amount of points rolled on the dice. If you get to the third square of the motorway, you will be given 5 shares.

If you find yourself on the 5th and 6th cells, an accident will follow. You will be admitted to the hospital and will have to pay for the treatment in the amount of 30,000 credits.

After stopping at the 8th cell of the motorway, you agree to deposit 1/2 of your money to the bank. But if you manage to get to the intersection, you can return to the large perimeter by paying a minimum toll of 5,000 credits.

Supermarket

Once on the "Supermarket" position, the game participants deposit 20,000 credits into the bank. You can also buy this plot for 50,000 and receive 75% of the rent from those of your rivals who accidentally fall into this area.

Trade

Undeveloped plots are allowed to be sold at any time and in unlimited quantities. The buildings are sold to the bank at half price.

Pledge

If the player does not have enough credits, he can pledge his property in the bank. The mortgaged plots are not for sale. The mortgaged property cards are turned over and placed separately. If, after completing two full circles along the large and small perimeters, the player still does not redeem his property, it will be taken by the bank.

Bankruptcy

If the player cannot repay the debt, he leaves the game, giving his property to the bank. After that, the bank must pay the creditors the amount of the debt in full. A retired player's cards can be purchased by other players in the game.
