It is necessary

  • - plastic flower pot;
  • - white acrylic paint;
  • - silver water-based acrylic paint;
  • - water-based craquelure remedy;
  • - paper napkins;
  • - glue for decoupage;
  • - water-based acrylic varnish;
  • - silver wax paste;
  • - brush.

Instructions

Step 1

Take the most ordinary plastic pot of the shape and size you need. Gently sand the surface of the pot on all sides and then shake off the dust with a brush.

Step 2

Use a flat brush to apply thick silver paint evenly. Let it dry well, then cover the pot again with one layer.

Step 3

After the paint is dry, gently apply the craquelure cleaner in a thick layer. The thickness of the cracks depends on how well you dry the product. Then paint the pot with white acrylic paint and dry thoroughly. Cracks will appear as the paint dries. A silver layer will show through the white paint.

Step 4

Then take a three-layer patterned napkin, carefully peel off one top layer. We only need it. Cut out a fragment with the image you need. Next, place it on the surface of the pot, creating a beautiful composition.

Step 5

With decoupage glue, carefully glue the napkin along the contour of the pot. While it is still wet, gently remove the excess paper with your hands.

Step 6

Tuck the protruding fragments of the drawing inside the pot. To complete the composition, accentuate the silvery cracks, gently coat the edges of the pot on top with silver wax paste.

Step 7

Cover the prepared flowerpot with water-based acrylic varnish.
