Color music is always a bright addition to any party. It is quite simple to make it, and the sensations that it will give will be the most vivid. Color music consists of two garlands of different bulbs. Both of these garlands are connected to a stereo system or computer via a USB port. With the help of special programs, the lamps light up with different rhythms and create the feeling of a light dance.
Instructions
Step 1
Take several garlands about 1-2 meters long. Purchase an adapter to connect the daisy chain to a computer or stereo system. The LPT-port plug will serve as an adapter. Also purchase the required amount of shielded twisted pair cable. The circuit works as follows: a twisted pair cable has 8 conductors that transmit the signal from DATA pins 0 to 7 to the control circuit. And the computer screen itself will act as a transmitter of the "ground". You also need a B-plug adapter cable.
Step 2
Connect the garlands to the computer using the adapters and cables described in the first paragraph. Turn on your computer. To date, several computer programs have been developed that allow you to create the effect of color music: Winamp, AIMP2, KMPlayer. Start one of these players on your computer. The trick of these programs is that they allow you to give the frequency spectrum of the track being played back as an array of data, which is subsequently used for visualization.
Step 3
Process this array and send it through the USB port to the device, which in turn will output it to 8 channels of twisted pair cable. Thus, musical impulses through these 8 channels get to light sources (garlands), as a result of which color music is formed.
