When fishing with a line, it is important to properly prepare the tackle. As you know, one of the indispensable attributes of traditional fishing is the float. Painted in a bright color, it reliably signals a bite. In order for the float to behave as prescribed, it is necessary to learn how to properly attach it to the fishing line. The method of attachment will largely depend on the type of tackle.
It is necessary
- - float;
- - fishing line;
- - rubber tube;
- - wire insulated;
- - knife.
Instructions
Step 1
Use a piece of rubber tube of suitable diameter to attach the float with two sharp points. Pass the line through two centimeter pieces of such a tube. Place the float between the tubes and slide them alternately over the ends of the float. In this case, the fishing line will be firmly fixed, while maintaining the ability to move the float if necessary to change the depth of the tackle.
Step 2
If you are using a float with a metal ring at one end, attach it with a line loop behind this ring. However, this method is not always suitable, because with a thin fishing line, the loop can be tightly tightened, and the float is "tightly" installed in one unchanged position.
Step 3
The float, made in the form of a goose feather, wedge it in the tube with a rod of a suitable size. The same method works if you want to use a ball of cork, foam, or bark as a float on a goose feather.
Step 4
The next way: at the tip of the float, attach a stainless wire with a ring outward. Insert a wire of the same size into the ring. Twist the free ends of the wire, leaving it about a centimeter long. Thread a fishing line through the insulation from a conventional radio conduit. Slide into this tube the pre-twisted ends of the wires that were previously left free. The ends inserted into the insulation securely fix the float, allowing it to be removed and moved along the line.
Step 5
In the most ideal case, you can do without a float altogether. Use the rod tip as a signal. This requires a rod with a flexible tip that is responsive to the force exerted by the fish on the bait. By the way, during winter fishing, a piece of pipe from a bicycle nipple plays the role of such an ideal float. Put a small piece of tube on the tip of the rod, and you will get a kind of "nod", by the movement of which you can judge the bite.
Step 6
For any method of attaching the float, try to make it so that it has the ability to move along the line. This is necessary to increase the controllability of the tackle, because the depth of the reservoir can be very different, which requires changes in the length of the underwater part of the line.
