The plot of the horror stories depends on the age of the artist. In a very young child, horror will be caused by a completely shaded black sheet and a spiral, similar to a tornado. Older children and adults will have certain characters in the drawing. These can be devils, demons, death, spiders, bats, ghosts, monsters from computer toys, and more. Before you start drawing, think about what scares you the most. Even if you are an adult and a serious person, materialist to the core, you probably have fears and phobias. Try to express them on a piece of paper.
Step 2
After you have chosen the acting characters of your horror story, you need to come up with an appropriate setting for them. Usually the action of horror films takes place in cemeteries, in abandoned houses, psychiatric hospitals, a dense forest. If you are not very good at drawing, the easiest way is to depict a brick wall. Draw cracks in the brick, hang torches and chains on the wall.
Step 3
Pay attention to the details, because they complete the picture, make it complete, make you believe in it. If the action takes place in a gloomy castle, decorate the walls with cobwebs. In the dense forest, draw several poisonous mushrooms, make two points in the bushes with a red or yellow pencil - these will be the eyes of a wild beast sitting in ambush. Bats can fly out of a dark dungeon.

Correct coloring of the picture will complete the horror story. The colors of your painting should be subtle. It is better to prefer cold shades: blue, dark green, brown, gray of various intensities and, of course, black. Draw red bloodshot eyes, bruises on the victim's face, blood dripping from the vampire's fangs. You can also leave the drawing in black and white, just draw the shadows with a simple pencil. Such pictures look mysterious and ominous.
