Everyone loves stories. Our brain perceives them more easily than naked facts. If you follow a few simple rules, you can write good stories. And they will be interesting to others.

Perseverance, courage, dedication, openness, courage, resistance to stress and a desire to develop

Instructions

Step 1

Be yourself.

A good, complete and true story will be written by a person who is not trying to portray someone. Readers always feel fake and unnatural, which is boring. Nobody likes fakes. Everyone is looking for real people and real stories.

Step 2

Tell to share.

When you meet with friends, you want to tell them stories that happened to you while you weren't seeing each other. You want to share your impressions with them, see their reactions and hear their stories in return. You don't tell your friends your stories to sell or show your best side. You just share experiences, events, interesting facts. Imagine that your reader is your friend with whom you chat or converse about life. Write your story for him to share.

Step 3

Do good enough, but not perfect.

Dear Perfectionists! Any text, even the best one, can be improved. While you are honing the first chapter, someone is finishing the third book. Write well and post. There are many good stories waiting for you to tell.

Step 4

Write as it is written.

If you write short stories easily, you don't need to force yourself to write long ones. If you write funny anecdotes, you don't need to squeeze out a multivolume novel. Write in the way to which your soul lies. And you will write a good story.

Step 5

Discard mediocre ideas.

Look for stories that are really interesting, realistic and believable. Don't repeat yourself. When the old ways of writing history don't work, look for new ones. Mediocre ideas are too flat, one-sided and therefore get bored quickly. They have little chance of being a good story.

Step 6

Look for a good question.

Typically, there is a hero in the story. The story is all the more interesting, the more complex, universal and topical problem the hero solves. Then it is most fully revealed, it becomes realistic and interesting. Find a good question, pose a deep problem, uncover the character, and your story will interest the reader.

Step 7

Edit.

It is necessary to work on the text. The goal is one: to make the text easy to read. So that the reader does not stumble at difficult revolutions, does not lose his thought. It is important, however, that the text is clear and allows for a good representation of what you are writing about. Edit.

Step 8

Work on your fears.

Fear of a blank slate, fear of negative reaction, fear of lack of reaction, fear of being yourself and being vulnerable - many fears are faced by the writer on his way. Dealing with fears is not the easiest and most productive way. It is much more constructive to acknowledge, appropriate, and befriend fears. As Liz Gilbert put it, "the less I fight them, the less they hit back."

Step 9

Refrain from stereotypes.

For a story to be good, it must be alive, mobile, reflect the fullness of life. Stereotypes are stories that are unique. They do not allow other points of view. There is no real movement of thought behind stereotypes. Stories filled with stereotypes won't be good.

Step 10

Live the stories you tell.

The best story is the story that you have written about you. Whom did you meet? What have you been through? What are the experiences? Where did you come to in your thoughts? For a story to live and be good, it must be real. And you can write a real story only about yourself and the experience that you have lived yourself.
