Azalea is a chic plant with shiny glossy leaves and lush flowers. In order for the flowering to last for a long time and the plant to please them again and again, several simple rules for caring for it should be adhered to.

Step 1
Find a place in your home where the azalea will feel comfortable. The plant is light-loving, but does not tolerate direct sunlight and drafts. So during airing, it is better to remove the flower to another place. At the same time, azalea prefers coolness, the optimal temperature for good growth should not exceed + 10-15 degrees. This is very difficult to achieve in an apartment in the winter, but if you put the azalea closer to the glass, it will be much more comfortable.
Step 2
Azalea is moisture-loving, water it as the top layer of soil dries up in a pot, with soft, settled water, at room temperature. Under no circumstances should the earthen lump dry out, otherwise the plant will shed its leaves.
Step 3
Spray the leaves systematically. Azalea loves a cool shower. The plant should be sprayed even during flowering.
Step 4
After flowering, cut off all weak and thickening shoots. Transplant the plant into a larger pot in fresh substrate. A couple of months before flowering, move the flower to a warmer place and pour warm water. When the plant blooms again, put it in its original cool place, and the azalea will delight you with its beautiful flowers for a very long time.
