Step 1
If you plan to print the same pattern on T-shirts in large quantities, then in most cases the silk-screening method is used. Silk-screen printing is a stencil printing that produces a bright and clear pattern on the T-shirt. Silk-screen printing gives the most intense color, as a large layer of paint is applied to the T-shirt.
Step 2
When a particularly high quality is required and volumes are expected to be small, thermal transfer is the best way to apply the design to the T-shirt. A thin patterned vinyl film is transferred to the fabric. Under the influence of high temperature (about 200 degrees Celsius), the film is embedded in the fabric, so the image is of high quality and durable.
Step 3
The highest quality of printing on a T-shirt is provided by the sublimation method. However, sublimation has an important drawback. With this method, you can only print designs on light-colored fabrics. The quality of the transferred drawing leaves no doubt - when applying it, two effects are used at once, firstly, temperature (a gift of 160 degrees Celsius), and secondly, chemical - special sublimation paints react. Such an image does not disappear either after washing or after long-term use. In fact, the lifespan of a printed image is equal to the lifespan of the product itself.
