And most importantly, determine the circulation of your newspaper. This will determine whether it is necessary to register the newspaper with the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Mass Communications and Information Technologies (Roskomnadzor).

According to the Law on Mass Media, registration is not required for periodicals with a circulation of no more than one thousand copies.

If you plan to print a daily publication with a circulation of more than one thousand copies, then pay a state fee in the amount of 2000 rubles. - for newspapers distributed in one region (district, city, region), and if the newspaper is distributed on the territory of several regions, then the size of the state duty will be 4000 rubles. For newspapers of an advertising nature, the size of the state duty has been increased 5 times, and for erotic newspapers - 10 times.
Step 6
Submit an application for registration of the newspaper along with a receipt for payment of the state duty to the territorial department of Roskomnadzor. Requirements for the application form and the procedure for filling out are given in the order of Roskomnadzor dated October 22, 2007 No. 315. Obtain a certificate of registration and from that moment you can send the newspaper to print.
Step 7
If the circulation of a self-published newspaper is more than tens of thousands of copies, then it is better to purchase printing equipment: a risograph - a machine for screen printing on newsprint. Prices for risographs start from fifty thousand and reach several hundred thousand rubles, depending on the model. If you are planning to carry out self-printing of a daily edition in small circulation, then it is better to use ordinary office equipment: a computer and a printer, a copier.
Step 8
Well, if you want to save time and money, then it is better to order the printing of daily editions in the printing house. Sign a contract for the production of printed products. After that, you can send the newspaper to print, which will be produced by professionals and on professional equipment.
