It is necessary

  • -picture;
  • -Printer;
  • -Thermal transfer paper;
  • -scissors;
  • -the cloth;
  • -iron;
  • -calca.

Instructions

Step 1

Find the photo or drawing that you would like to transfer to your clothes. Prepare it for printing. Please note that this will be a positive print, so the picture must be inverted mirrored. Set up your printer for the best print quality. Try printing a draft on plain paper. If everything suits you, print the picture on special thermal transfer paper. When buying it, be sure to consider the type of your printer. Some papers are suitable for both laser and inkjet equipment.

Step 2

Leave the image on for 30 minutes to dry well. After drying, carefully cut the picture along the contour. Please note that if you translate this image into white matter, then when cutting you can leave margins equal to about five centimeters. But if the fabric is colored, then the image must be cut without borders and as accurately as possible.

Step 3

Take an ironing board and spread the sheet that has been folded several times over it. On it, level the product or the cut on which the drawing will be applied. Place the cutout on the fabric so that the image is at the bottom. Straighten it and iron it evenly for 1-2 minutes. Make sure that all parts of the drawing are well ironed. Do not use steam.

Step 4

After ten seconds, very carefully remove the sheet of paper. Before removing it completely, slightly peel back one corner and check how the picture is printed. In case of poor quality printing, iron the image again with an iron. When removing the paper, be careful to do it in the direction in which the fabric stretches the least.

Step 5

After 20 minutes, take the tracing paper, attach it to the printed design, and iron it again. Do not iron the image without tracing paper - this can damage the iron.
