Step 1
Purchase a laminated chipboard from a hardware store. The length of the board should be identical to the length of the wall itself. If necessary, using a hacksaw, the board can be cut (shortened or increased).
Step 2
Pay attention to the color of the chipboard - it must match the color of the furniture wall. Now in stores you can find chipboard of any color. If you have problems with colored chipboard, then you can simply add color to the board using a self-adhesive film of the desired shade.
Step 3
Buy a hacksaw blade that has a round shape, some halogen spotlights, a transformer, and a small switch. All this is freely sold in hardware stores (in the departments of electrical goods).
Step 4
Mark on the board where the holes will be made for the purchased halogen spotlights. These are the main elements that will allow you to renovate the furniture wall. Lamps for the visor can be either ordinary, white or colored.
Step 5
Make round holes in the marked places. Try to do this carefully so as not to damage the board with the electric drill. It is better to make the holes smaller and then widen, than ruin the board with too large holes.
Step 6
Attach the visor you made to the top of the wall with screws. Fit the visor as tight as possible, check the horizontal position. The visor must hold tight and securely, not tilt.
Step 7
Carefully insert the fixtures into the holes, carefully fix them. Connect the luminaires to the network using a transformer. If you don't know how to do this, ask someone who understands electrics.
Step 8
Install the switch and carefully pull the cord out. Turn on the halogen lights and your wall will shine with a soft light. As you can see, it is quite simple to renovate a furniture wall beautifully.
