Origami is Japanese for folded paper. The genius of this art is that without the help of scissors and glue, a wide variety of figures can be folded, from very simple to complex models from triangular modules.
Instructions
Step 1
To make a paper swan, you need a square sheet of paper. The size depends on your desire, but the first craft is best done larger.
Step 2
Draw a middle line. To do this, fold the sheet diagonally. Iron the fold carefully with your hands. Then unfold the sheet.
Step 3
Bend the sides of the square at an angle to the indicated center line, aligning their sides. Then bend the outer sides towards the middle, stepping back about 1.5 cm from the edge.
Step 4
Lay the structure with the top of the corner facing you. Shape the swan's neck. Spread out the part and bend the half that is pointing upwards towards you. Fold the structure in half along the previously folded line.
Step 5
Make the head and beak of the swan. To do this, bend an acute angle on the neck downward, stepping back 2-3 cm, straighten the folds on the sides of the body, imitating the wings of a swan.
Step 6
Folding a paper swan from triangular models is also not very difficult, but this work requires perseverance, since you need to make about 500 blanks for making crafts.
Step 7
Fold an A4 sheet of paper in half along the long side. Then the part must be bent in half again, marking the center line of the workpiece. Unbend the part.
Step 8
Bend the sides at an angle to the marked center line, aligning the sides. Flip the part with the fold away from you.
Step 9
Bend the rectangles that turned out under the triangle up. Bend the "ears" on both sides of the part along the edges of the triangle. Then fold the triangles in half along the centerline.
Step 10
Fold the 2 modules together with the sides aligned. Insert them into the "pockets" of the third triangular module. Then attach another module and in the same way insert the ribs into the "pockets" of the third. Thus, assemble a ring in which you should get 2 rows of 30 modules.
Step 11
Then, in the same way, make up a structure of five rows of modules, which should be put on each other in a checkerboard pattern, which will give strength to the structure.
Step 12
Turn the resulting closed ring inside out and assemble the 6th row, as described above. Next, lay out the swan wings from the modules on the sides. Shape them by bending them slightly to the sides.
Step 13
Collect the tail. It will require 5 rows of triangular modules, and in each subsequent row, their number should be reduced by one.
Step 14
Shape the swan's neck. To do this, assemble the structure by inserting the corners of the module into the "pockets" of the next one, and so on to the desired length. Insert the neck into the torso module between the swan's wings. Shape your neck into a curved shape.
