Bright thread jewelry is an attribute of youth fashion, it allows teenagers to express their feelings and stand out from the crowd. Girls are happy to weave baubles from floss and iris, creating intricate patterns using simple knots. It is quite easy to master the weaving of homemade jewelry, and it takes very little time to create them.
It is necessary
- - threads of iris of different shades;
- - scissors;
- - pins;
- - scotch tape.
Instructions
Step 1
Pick the iris in the shades you want. The more thread you take, the wider the bauble will be. If you are going to weave a thin bracelet, cut off 80 cm of thread of each color from the skein. For a wide decoration, you will need up to 1.5 m of iris.
Step 2
Step back 5-7 cm from the beginning and tie the ends of all the threads in a knot. Pin the base to a stationary object such as the back of a chair, pillow, or your own jeans. Distribute the threads in the order in which you will create the pattern.
Step 3
There are other ways to start weaving with iris. Tie the end of each thread to the drop-down section of the pin in the desired sequence and pin to a soft surface. Spread the threads for a wide bauble on the table as close to each other as possible, glue them to the surface with tape or electrical tape. Use the option of attaching the threads with a wide clothespin, securing the base to the tablet.
Step 4
Begin to weave a stripe pattern. Take the leftmost thread in your right hand, circle the axial thread in front of it, located to the right. With the warp thread wrapped, bring the work thread forward over the loop and tighten the knot.
Step 5
Move to the next axial thread and tie a second knot. With a working thread, continue to weave from the iris until you have knotted all the warp threads.
Step 6
Start the second row of the pattern again from the leftmost thread. Repeat the steps until you have made a bracelet of the desired length. Weave pigtails from loose threads, make knots at both ends.
Step 7
Weave the "Arrows" pattern from an even number of threads. When securing the base, distribute the shades symmetrically. Use the left thread to weave the right knots from the iris to the center thread.
Step 8
With the right thread, weave the row to the center with the left loops, including the warp, which already has a knot of this color. Weave the rows alternately, they will meet in the middle, forming corners. After the bauble reaches the desired length, weave the threads into a pigtail and secure with a knot.
Step 9
To weave letters on a bauble, weave the background with one long thread. Use axial threads to weave letters from iris. Make sure the rows run straight. Pre-draw a diagram of the letters on paper.
