Step 1
Do the preparatory work to most accurately knit the square. Cast on 25 stitches on the needles and knit 25-30 rows in garter stitch. If the product will consist of openwork squares, knit a sample of the pattern according to the prepared pattern.

Determine the dimensions of the future product and calculate how many squares need to be knitted and what the dimensions of one figure will be. For example, for a bedspread 150 cm long and 100 cm wide, you will need 150 squares measuring 10X10 cm or 24 squares measuring 25X25 cm.
Step 5
If you decide to knit squares with knitting needles, the sides of which are 10 centimeters, then use the available data for the number of loops and rows. In the event that the sizes of the figures differ, calculate exactly how many loops will be required and knit rows for one square.
Step 6
In the process of knitting squares with knitting needles, be sure to check the correctness of the geometric shape. To do this, fold the piece diagonally and see if the lengths of the sides match. Adjust the square as needed.
Step 7
Knit squares of yarn of equal thickness but different color. When using completely different yarns, the knitting density will differ, so in this case, calculate the number of loops and rows separately for each type of thread.
Step 8
Spread the finished parts on a flat surface. You can assemble a blanket from connected squares in any order or in strict accordance with the ornament. Connect the fragments together with pins or sweep the parts.
Step 9
