Bright, unusual squares, knitted in the Bavarian technique, are used for blankets, bedspreads and decorative pillows. Squares are knitted very simply, the main thing is to change the color of the yarn every two rows. The principle of knitting a square is slightly different from knitting a regular cloth in the Bavarian technique.
It is necessary
Hook, leftover yarn of different colors
Instructions
Step 1
The square is knitted from the center, which is formed from a sliding loop.
Step 2
Each row starts with two air lift loops.
Step 3
The sliding loop must be tightened so that there is no hole in the middle of the square. Cut the thread as you need to change the color of the yarn.
Step 4
In the next row, the square is tied with concave double crochets.
Step 5
Attach a thread of a different color to the square and tie the lifting loops.
Step 6
A concave double crochet is formed by inserting a hook under the crochet of the previous row and pulling the thread under the bottom double crochet.
Step 7
A connecting half-column is knitted under the air loop of the previous row.
Step 8
The second row of concave crochet stitches is tied with regular crochet stitches.
Step 9
You can change the color of the yarn, but it is better to continue knitting with the yarn with which the second row was knitted. Then small squares will form. In the third row, knit 12 double crochets and air loops (according to the scheme from step 8).
Step 10
It turns out an unusual square.
Step 11
To knit the next row, you need to change the color of the yarn.
Step 12
The corners in all even rows are knitted according to the pattern from step 4.
Step 13
Eight concave double crochets and chains of three air loops are knitted between the squares.
Step 14
In the next row, over the 8 concave stitches knitted together, tie 8 regular crochet stitches. In the corners, knit 12 double crochets and two air loops (according to the scheme from step 8).
Step 15
Continue knitting.
