Plaid in the Bavarian technique is knitted easily and quickly. It looks very unusual due to the embossed surface of the canvas. It looks a bit like a honeycomb. The advantage of knitting a blanket in the Bavarian technique is the ability to knit it from the rest of the yarn. The more yarn residues have accumulated, the better. Use them to knit a bright and cozy blanket.
It is necessary
Hook, leftover yarn, scissors, needle
Instructions
Step 1
To knit a blanket, you need to dial a chain of air loops, their number should be a multiple of 6. Squares are knitted from these air loops. The more loops, the more squares you get. Squares are the middle of the future blanket. For example, the middle of a blanket consists of three squares. You need to cast on 18 loops.
Step 2
The squares are knitted according to the pattern.
Step 3
First, the halves of the squares are knitted on one side of the chain. Then continue to knit on the other side of the chain.
Step 4
It turns out a strip of squares.
Step 5
Then you need to knit according to the pattern. Concave double crochets are shown in pink in the diagram. To form a corner, you need to knit squares of 12 double crochets (they join 4 double crochets in the previous row).
Step 6
The next row is knitted with a thread of a different color. Attach a thread to the air loop of the square, tie three air loops.
Step 7
Knit concave columns according to the pattern from step 5.
Step 8
The first "fan" should consist of four double crochets.
Step 9
A "fan" of eight concave double crochets is knitted between the squares of the first row. It turned out a rectangle with corners from four concave double crochets.
Step 10
When knitting the next row, you need to insert the hook into the loop, which was formed when knitting all the concave double crochets with one loop.
Step 11
The square fits. In one loop, you need to knit 12 double crochets (four columns must be alternated with an air loop).
Step 12
In the next loop, tie eight double crochets.
Step 13
In all the following rows in the corners, knit four double crochets (concave).
Step 14
Knit a canvas of the required size.
Step 15
The blanket should be rectangular.
