No special tools are needed to knit a cloth using the “Bavarian technique”. It is knitted with a regular crochet hook made of multi-colored yarn. The canvas turns out to be thick, embossed and very beautiful. Blankets, bedspreads and decorative pillows are knitted in the "Bavarian technique".
It is necessary
Hook, multi-colored yarn, scissors
Instructions
Step 1
For knitting in the Bavarian technique, you need to knit a strip of squares. To do this, dial a chain of air loops, their number should be a multiple of 6. It is 6 loops that will be needed to knit one square. Example 42 loops.
Step 2
A number of squares are knitted according to the pattern.
Step 3
On a chain of air loops, one row is obtained, which consists of halves of squares.
Step 4
After the top row is tied, they start knitting the bottom row. It also consists of halves of squares. Do not cut the thread. The crochet stitches in the bottom row are knitted in a loop into which the crochet stitches in the top row were knitted.
Step 5
It turns out a series of squares.
Step 6
The squares are tied with elements that are knitted according to a different pattern. A row of squares is marked in green. When knitting the third and subsequent rows, green double crochets are not taken into account in the pattern. Concave double crochets are shown in blue. Regular double crochets are marked in pink. Blue crosses are connecting half-columns. When knitting the third and subsequent rows, only the columns indicated in the diagram in blue and pink are knitted. The drawing on the right side (it has only four double crochets in each row) is a knitting pattern for the edge of the canvas. The picture on the left is a knitting pattern for the central part of the canvas.
Step 7
Each row begins and ends with four double crochets.
Step 8
In the first row of each new element, all columns are concave.
Step 9
Knit according to the pattern in step 6.
Step 10
Tie the row to the end.
Step 11
Start the row by knitting four purl double crochets.
Step 12
When knitting the second row, you need to throw the thread on the hook "away from you".
Step 13
Between the "fans" of the columns, knit connecting half-columns.
Step 14
Continue knitting according to the pattern from step 6, without taking into account the green columns during the knitting process.
Step 15
You should get a canvas like in the photo.
