Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars turned out to be a real fan dream. The developers chose the right position - they did not reinvent the wheel, they simply transferred the classic games to a new graphical shell and developed the plot. Excellent sales and fairly high ratings turned out to be well deserved - the game is still not outdated, and many gamers still spend round after round on the network.

Step 1
Purchase a licensed version of the game. This is important because the pirated copy does not support LAN or Internet games. When you try to create a Lan game using one copy of the game, you will encounter a warning: "CD-key match", i.e. product serial number. Moreover, you will be denied admission to games on the official EA server.
Step 2
Select the "multiplayer" item in the main menu. Inside it, three options will be waiting for you - the game via the worldwide network, via Lan (local connection) and "network game settings". Having opened one of the first two points, you will be taken to the "lobby", which will show all the available games. The official server is never empty (if so, then you have connection problems). If the game is not reflected in the local lists, then try to search for a specific IP-address of the computer (the search field is on the same screen).
Step 3
When playing online with a live person, speed plays a decisive role. Therefore, it is important that you do not stand idle for a second, but constantly combine 2-3 useful processes. This is, first of all, careful reconnaissance of the map (it is worth starting with the construction of the very first units); secondly, the intensive development of the main base and the construction of an additional one (to which it is worth moving on as soon as an economic opportunity arises). Finally, try to ensure that barracks and similar structures are never idle: the number of units on the map is unlimited, so there is no point in worrying about the size of your own army.
Step 4
There are several weak points to ensure victory. Moreover, you need to simultaneously weaken the enemy and protect yourself from a similar attack: destroy the colonizers of side bases, constantly attack harvesters and power plants. In addition, technological buildings are vulnerable - they are rarely built in 2 pieces, and the destruction of one will immediately limit the development opportunities for another player.
