Step 1
Choose the shape and color of the hat. Measure the volume of your head. Then buy the required amount of yarn, but you will need more yarn than for a regular hat - the hat will be double and warm, so buy with a margin, it may come in handy. For example, you can make a small bubo or decoration from the rest of the yarn.
Step 2
Cast on the required number of loops on the needles and knit an elastic about two centimeters. If you will knit without a seam in the back, then you will need 4 knitting needles.
Step 3
Knit the required number of rows with the selected pattern, not forgetting to equally add or subtract the required number of loops on both sides of the product according to the pattern.
Step 4
Knit the inner part of the hat, while remembering that it should be without a pattern, but tied with a regular satin stitch, then the hat will not look so thick. The bottom of the cap should be the same length as the top.
Step 5
Fold over the top and lining. As a result, it turns out that the loops of the upper and lower parts will fit into each other, which will make it possible to avoid unnecessary thickening in these places. Connect the front and bottom parts at the top of the hat, thread the thread through the loops and tighten it, while tying the knot well.
Step 6
Make a lush bubo out of the remaining yarn, then sew it to the top of the hat. You can sew not one bubo, but two or three different sizes and shapes. You can also decorate the hat with beads around the edges, if the hat is for children, then you can knit small strips and sew them on, then it will be tied and there will be no need to constantly correct it.
