It is necessary

  • - wire or ready-made base for a wreath;
  • - thick cardboard;
  • - scissors;
  • - coniferous branches;
  • - cones;
  • - glue gun;
  • - decorative elements (beads, ribbons, berries, bows, etc.).

Instructions

Step 1

First you need to prepare the foundation. Take a thick wire and twist it into a ring. To prevent the structure from getting too heavy, limit yourself to a couple of skeins. Tie the ring with thin wires, this will protect the wreath from scattering. Also, a ready-made base can be purchased at handicraft stores or florist shops.

Step 2

Cut the pine branches to a length of 10 cm and attach them to the ring with a thin wire. Spread them evenly around the perimeter, moving clockwise. Remember to take care not to deform the wire frame during the fastening process. Then, in the same way, lay the second layer of branches, moving counterclockwise.

Step 3

Collect the buds. They must hit whole and clean. You can leave them in their original form, or you can cover them with silver or gold paint from a spray can. Spread out the pine cones for a beautiful arrangement. The easiest option: 5-6 medium cones, located in a circle at the same distance from each other. You can also combine cones of different sizes by placing large ones around the perimeter of the wreath and filling the space between them with small specimens. After you decide on the composition, attach the buds with a liquid gun directly to the coniferous branches. To give the wreath a festive look, decorate it with rowan sprigs, beautiful beads and a satin bow.

Step 4

You can make a Christmas wreath using only pine cones. In this case, a cardboard base is required. Cut a circle of the desired diameter, and inside it, a smaller circle. You should have a ring. Using a glue gun, secure the bumps around the perimeter of the base so that no gaps are visible.

Step 5

If you have thin pine cones, glue them as the first layer, side by side in the same direction. Attach medium sized pine cones on top. You can also fix large bumps first, and fill the space between them with smaller ones. There are many design options, it all depends solely on your imagination and taste.

Step 6

As an additional decoration, use small garlands, beads, satin ribbons, dry or plastic berries, dried orange peels, tangerines, etc. Cover the remaining gaps in the paper with dry vine, decorative leaves, New Year's tinsel or rain. Make a loop at the back of the wreath so you can hang it.
