Novice guitarists, when learning to play the guitar, are faced with the problem of tuning a musical instrument. In the absence of a tuning fork, the skill of tuning the guitar "by ear" will be quite useful.
Instructions
Step 1
The standard tuning method starts with the thinnest string. To configure it, use special tools - technical and software implementations of tuners and tuning forks. If there is nothing suitable, use the phone beep as the reference sound for tuning the first string. Place your finger on the string at the 5th fret and twist the peg until the pitch matches the pitch of the tube.
Step 2
In the field, you can tune the thinnest string by ear. It is very difficult to find the exact pitch of the string, so note the string tension that suits you best. Do not overtighten her, but make sure she is not overly relaxed.
Step 3
Once you've established what sounds best for the first string, start tuning the rest. To do this, press down on the second string at the 5th fret and adjust the tension with the peg. It should sound the same as the open first string. When you have achieved this, move on to the next string. Press down on the fourth fret and tune in unison with the free second fret. Do the same for the rest of the strings, pressing them down at the 5th fret.
Step 4
Check if the procedure for tuning the instrument was carried out correctly. Organize the control as follows: one string is free, the other press in the place where the sound should be lower by an octave. Pull both strings and see if they are in tune. If so, you can start enjoying your guitar playing. This tuning method is widely known, therefore it is called classic.
