Step 1
Tie twenty stitches. Close four loops. To do this, leave five loops untied at the end of the row. Transfer these loops, excluding the last two, to the right knitting needle. Pull the second loop on the right on the left knitting needle through the first (you do not need to knit).
Following this method, continue to pull the rest of the stitches to be closed through each other, leaving one stitch. It is this loop that knit with the front loop. In the end, leave five closed and knit the next row from the wrong side.
Step 2
The next method is based on decreasing the loops on the front side. To remove one loop on the right, knit two loops at once, make a front loop out of it. To remove one stitch on the left, move the first stitch from the left knitting needle to the right knitting needle. Pull the thread over the transferred loop. Now knit the second stitch. When finished, pass it through the first stitch you removed. This method is performed when knitting on the front surface.
Step 3
In places such as the armhole and neckline, it is very important to get a straight cut, without steps. To do this, knit one row using a pulling method. Remove the first edge loop, and knit the next one after it through the first.
Step 4
If you need to close the loops when purl knitting, then use the following method. Turn the product over to the right side. Knit the hem and the next stitch behind it. This will make one loop. Transfer this loop to the left knitting needle and do the same with the number of loops you need.
Step 5
This way to close the stitches at the end of the row is called "Lace". Knit the front row and turn the garment inside out. On this side, knit a row like this: two front loops, remove the next two and knit them together with a front loop. Transfer back the three resulting stitches from the right knitting needle to the left one. Repeat until three stitches remain. Knit the first of them with the front one, and the next two - together and stretch through the first.
