Today we are going to learn how to draw a transformers logo in Photoshop. But even if you are not a fan of transformers, this lesson may be useful to you. After all, following this example, you can draw any other logos, emblems, shapes and learn how to edit them. Follow our step by step instructions.
Instructions
Step 1
Print out the transformers logo so you can see it in front of your eyes. After all, from it you will create your masterpiece.
Step 2
Create a new 500 * 500px file. Apply blending settings.
Step 3
Select the Pen Tool for drawing. Start drawing the emblem with the upper triangle.
Step 4
Draw an element on the left side. Now make a mirrored copy of this element.
Step 5
Draw the next element, a vertical strip downward from the top triangle.
Step 6
Draw one of the bottom side elements, and then create a mirror image of it so that the shapes are the same for you.
Step 7
Draw an element that resembles the letter "H" and the detail below it. The emblem is drawn, it remains to correct it, and change the colors.
Step 8
Merge all layers into one except for the background layer. Apply blend settings to your logo. Select the outline of the logo with CTRL.
Step 9
Go to a new layer and fill everything with # FFD528. Apply blending settings to this layer. Now, if everything suits you, you can stop, but you can add more effects to make the logo look more realistic.
Step 10
Create a new layer and fill it with black. Apply the following filters to the layer: "Filter" - "Render" - "Clouds" and "Filter" - "Sharpen" - "Unsharp Mask". Set the blending layer to "Soft Light".
Step 11
Select the outline of the logo with "CTRL" as you did in step 9. Leave from the layer that you created in step 13, only what is inside the path. To do this, use the selection tool - "Cut to New Layer".
Step 12
Create a new layer, here we will create scratches on our logo. You can make scratches with brushes.
Step 13
Cut off the excess by selecting the outline of the transformers emblem. Set the blending settings to "Overley".
Step 14
The emblem is ready. You could of course draw it by hand, but this logo can also be used on the Internet, it looks nice and professional. Once you've created one such logo in Photoshop, you can print as many as you like.
