Many techniques of folding roses from a single sheet of paper give a beautiful, but far from reality, result. To make a flower that is difficult to distinguish from the real one, assemble it from individual hand-painted petals.

Instructions

Step 1

Get sheets of white printer paper. Cut 5-7 squares of different sizes from them - from 4 to 10 cm. Fold each of them in four, and then unfold again.

Step 2

Mix two shades of watercolor on the palette - one should be dark, the second in the same range, but light. "Look" the natural shades on the petals of a real rose or come up with your own color.

Step 3

Using a wide squirrel brush or foam sponge, apply the dark color over a quarter of the square. Immediately, while the paint is still wet, place a light-colored stroke on top (take it with a clean brush). Repeat the same operation on the remaining blanks. Then turn the paper over to the wrong side and repeat these steps.

Step 4

Lightly moisten dried sheets with a clean, damp brush. With a thin synthetic brush, pick a color slightly darker than the petal and paint in veins.

Step 5

Fold the two smallest dried squares in four. Cut out oblong petals from them for the center of the flower. From the rest of the blanks, make the petals in a more rounded teardrop shape. Do not cut a few of the largest squares in the center so that the parts of the flower remain connected. Bend the edges of all petals slightly outward, wrapping them around a toothpick, wire or pen shaft.

Step 6

Take a stiff wire. With its end, wrap a tight oval twisted from a piece of paper. Start collecting a rose on it. Attach the smallest petals on the sides and wrap the bottom of them around the wire. The shape of the resulting center of the flower should resemble a bud.

Step 7

Lubricate the attachment point of the petals with glue and continue wrapping the wire with larger pieces. They can be folded outward, and not collected in a bud. Lastly, pierce the wire and put the largest connected petals on the rose. Press them to the base of the flower, secure with glue and rotate slightly around the axis to give the rose a natural look.

Step 8

Finally, cut and plant the sepals and leaves on the stem. Then grease the wire with glue and wrap it with green thread.
