A paper headdress can be a good handy tool to protect your head from paint when painting. Yes, and in children's games, sometimes you cannot do without such a knight's helmet. You can fold a paper hat in different ways, but in any case, it is difficult to do without media here. This is, of course, a newspaper.

It is necessary

  • - newspaper;
  • - flat surface (table).

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare a standard format newspaper. It should not be too wrinkled, otherwise it will be difficult to give the paper cap a presentation. Place the newspaper on a comfortable, level surface (floor or table). Unfold the newspaper to the first fold, called the fold.

Step 2

Along the already finished folded edge from the edges to the center (centerline) line, make two diagonal folds. Please note that all the folds provided by the hat manufacturing technology should be carefully pressed with your fingers to make the structure more rigid.

Step 3

Tuck the edge of the newspaper that now protrudes from the bottom of the resulting triangle twice. Do the same with the second edge of the newspaper. Bend the corners protruding along the edges of the folded strips into the structure.

Step 4

The base of the headdress is ready. You can safely wear it as an ordinary Napoleonic "cocked hat". If you want to give the headdress even more expressiveness, proceed to the next stage.

Step 5

To make a cap of the "cap" type, turn one of the lower rectangles back one lapel (this is necessary to form the visor of the cap). A rim (band) will be made from the second rectangle.

Step 6

Reduce the right and left corners of the large triangle to the center, thereby forming the size of the cap you need. For an adult, it is enough to bend the closed edges of the triangle slightly with a slight overlap. For more accuracy at this stage, make a preliminary fitting on your head.

Step 7

Fold in the bottom raised edges and form the visor of the cap. To do this, fold the protruding rectangle again for rigidity, and then wind the edges under the rim from below.

Step 8

Bring the upper corner of the former triangle under the rim from the back of the head. Fold the "ears" under the band on both sides, this will give the headdress a finished shape.
