Instructions
Step 1
First, choose a yarn. When choosing a color, it is necessary to consider whether it suits your face, clothes or bag, whether it is in harmony with outerwear.
Step 2
Having decided on the color, you can choose the yarn. It should be soft and warm as it will be winter hat. Particular attention should be paid to the composition of the yarn. Fluffy woolen yarn with a minimum percentage of synthetics, well dyed, is most suitable for winter. There is no need to save on yarn - buy an expensive and high-quality one, because for a hat you need only 200 grams. It is better to focus on yarn, and choose a simple and elegant model of the hat.
Step 3
There are many styles of hats, you can knit a hat with ears, a beret, a hat with a bend. But it is better to start with the simplest kind, which even a beginner in knitting can easily knit.
Step 4
For work, it is better to use five knitting needles or circular knitting needles, then the product will turn out without seams. The needles are large, no less than # 6.
Step 5
First, cast 72 stitches on the needles, 18 on each needle. Work one row with a 2x2 elastic band, about 30 cm in a circle.
Step 6
Next, you need to start reducing the number of loops. First cut the loops to 54. To do this, knit the front loops with the front loops, and the purl loops, two together with the purl loops.
Step 7
In the next row, the pattern will be like this - the front loops over the front loops, and the purl loops - over the purl loops.
Step 8
Now reduce the number of loops by 18, there should be 36 of them. At the same time, knit the front loops in two together. And purl, as in the previous rows, knit purl.
Step 9
Knit the next row in the same way as after cutting the loops - facial, purl, purl.
Step 10
Reduce the number of stitches again, but already to 18. Also knit the whole row together in two knit stitches. The next row is the front loops. Knit another row with the front ones.
Step 11
Cut the stitches down to 9 one last time. Knit two stitches together. Finally, pull the thread through the remaining 9 stitches and tighten and secure the thread.
