Polymer clay products have been very popular lately. For example, carrots made from this material can become an original base for earrings or "food" for your child's doll.
It is necessary
- - orange polymer clay;
- - green polymer clay;
- - stationery knife;
- - a stick with a pointed end.
Instructions
Step 1
Roll the orange polymer clay into balls, then pull them out from one side in the shape of a carrot.
Step 2
Use a pointed stick to make a hole in the future carrot as shown in the picture.
Step 3
Now make a green ponytail. Give the green polymer clay a flat ribbon look. If the tape comes out thick, cut it to make long, narrow strips. Use a knife and stick to make one side of the strip “torn”. Then twist to make a cone.
Step 4
Insert the greens into the orange carrot base.
Step 5
The carrots are almost ready. It remains to be done on the orange part of the groove to make the vegetable look more realistic.
Step 6
If you are making a base for earrings, insert special metal loops.
Step 7
Bake the carrots in the oven. Baking lasts about 10 minutes, at a temperature of 150-200 degrees (time and temperature may vary depending on the brand of clay)
