Crocheted items look even more unusual and beautiful if the craftswoman decorates them with various patterns and decorative elements, which can also be crocheted by weaving these elements into a standard knitted fabric. Decorative knitted spirals can diversify and decorate any product - a hat, scarf, sweater or beret. Knitting such spirals is easy enough.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a medium yarn and hook # 2. Tie a chain of chain stitches of the desired length, add three lifting loops, and then knit 4-5 double crochets in each loop of the chain. When knitting the fabric, twist a row of columns in a spiral around the chain of air loops.
Step 2
The more double crochet you knit into each stitch, the fuller and more voluminous your spiral will be. Decorate a children's scarf with several of these spirals instead of a fringe to make it more original.
Step 3
You can decorate with spirals not only a scarf, but also a hat - for example, you can collect a brush from spirals by placing it instead of a pom-pom or place the spirals on a beret. Start knitting beret in the usual and standard technique - type four air loops on the hook and lock them into a ring.
Step 4
Spiral in a flat circle, adding loops, from the middle of the bottom. Having knitted a circle with a diameter of 23-28 cm, knit a flat strip 3-7 cm wide without increments.
Step 5
Then knit another strip, decreasing the loops, knitting two purl stitches eight times with one crochet and a common top, until the inner circumference of the beret coincides with the circumference of the head.
Step 6
Finally, tie the edge of the beret with six rows of single crochets. After the beret is tied, knit two spirals on twelve loops. Knit four stitches with one crochet in each loop of the chain, and then sew the finished spirals to the product.
