Children's creativity brings a lot of inconvenience to parents. Furniture, walls and clothes are constantly smeared with paints, felt-tip pens and plasticine. After active sculpting, the question arises of removing the sticky mass from surrounding objects. Do not deny a child the pleasure of creating because of pollution, especially since his work brings a lot of joy to parents.
It is necessary
Ice, paper napkins, laundry soap, salt
Instructions
Step 1
If the contamination is light, you can walk over the smeared objects with a cloth soaked in alcohol.
Step 2
The baby's plastic toys must be soaked in warm water, the plasticine will lag behind them after a while.
Step 3
You can wash the adhering plasticine from furniture with the help of sunflower oil. Moisten a cloth with vegetable oil and wipe off all dirt, the surface will not be cleaned immediately, but after about 3 procedures. It is easiest to wash your hands after sculpting in the same way.
Step 4
Large pieces of plasticine smeared on the surface must first be scraped off so that it remains as small as possible, then it will be easier to remove it.
Step 5
A regular dry paper towel copes well with light dirt, attracting sticky pieces of plasticine when wiping off and absorbing grease.
Step 6
Carpets and clothing suffer the most from plasticine, as it leaves behind greasy brown stains. Clothes can be cleaned by placing them in the freezer for a couple of hours. The plasticine will freeze and you can safely remove it, and then wash the laundry with bleach, there will be no trace of greasy stains.
Step 7
If the plasticine is heavily eaten into the clothes, you need to turn it inside out and rub the laundry soap into problem areas with an old toothbrush for about 5 minutes, then add kitchen salt and rub it a little more. Then rinse the clothes with water, the stains should disappear.
Step 8
It is quite difficult to wash plasticine from a fleecy carpet surface. The main thing is not to try to remove it with a rag or napkin, as it only eats deeper into the surface. The carpet is unlikely to fit into the freezer, so you need to take a plastic bag or heating pad, fill it with ice and put it on the smeared place for about 10 minutes. After the plasticine freezes, it must be quickly picked out with any convenient object.
