Instructions

Step 1

Real dandelion combines lightness, brightness and color. Depicting a dandelion, they usually draw a small yellow cap and a stalk with leaves. However, it is not enough to draw only them, since the dandelion, first of all, is a delicate and lush flower. Purchase quality paint to paint a dandelion. The most important condition when choosing paint for the image of this flower is that it does not spread over the canvas, since the dandelion should turn out to be airy. For this, in particular, oil paint is good. Artists who prefer pencils can use them as well. But gouache for drawing a dandelion is of little use - the drawing may turn out to be blurry. The yellow paint should be rich, but not too bright or pale.

Step 2

First sketch out the head of the dandelion. To do this, you need to take a small brush to draw a sketch of the flower. With this brush, draw a circle outline. Then, in the center of this circle, draw a pair of patterned and slightly forked petals. After that, draw the remaining petals on the sides. Supplement the lower part of the head with small acute-angled leaves. At the final stage, take a larger brush and carefully paint over the petals and leaves.

Step 3

Having drawn the most important thing - the head of the dandelion, go to the image of the stalk. It should be thin, but at the same time proportional to the head. Draw two thin lines and connect them to the dandelion head. Then, using another brush, paint over the stem with light green paint. The stem should be drawn in such a way that it creates the illusion that it is a little buried in the grass. If you learn how to draw it this way, the dandelion will look more like a real one.

Step 4

Draw the dandelion leaves after you have drawn the flower itself and the stem. This also takes a lot of effort. First, sketch out the frame of the leaf. Use a small brush for this. Be sure to learn how to depict carved leaves. To do this, before drawing the leaves, carefully consider how they look in a real dandelion. After the leaves are shown, paint over them and the drawing can be considered ready.
