Amarkhuu Borkhuu is a Russian pop musician of Mongolian origin, Honored Artist of Buryatia. He became widely known after winning the TV project "People's Artist-3", gaining a huge number of viewers' votes in the final. Former soloist of the famous Russian musical group "Prime Minister".
Biography
Amarkhuu Borhuu was born in Mongolia on July 1, 1987. At preschool age, the Borkhuu family moved to Russia in the city of Ulan-Ude in Buryatia. Amarkhuu's father - Byambazhav Borhuu - is one of the founders of the Buryat National Circus, in the past - a famous circus artist who made a great contribution to the development of the culture of Buryatia. Amarkhuu also worked in the circus and at the age of 6 he performed in the circus arena, but his father was always against this, because he knew what efforts it took to be a circus performer and did not want such a life for his beloved son. At school, Amarkhuu began to study music, his father approved of his son's new hobby and supported him in every possible way, so the young musician decided to develop himself in this direction.
In the 10th grade, Borhuu was selected as an actor of the Baikal theater, where, according to Amarkhuu, he became a real artist thanks to the teachers and the theater staff.
In 2010, Amarkhuu starred in the Russian-Mongolian crime comedy "Operation Tatar", where he played the main role. The film was released in Russia in 2011 and became the first Mongolian film shown in our country over the past several decades.
Now Amarkhuu Borhuu lives and works in Moscow.
Creation
Amarkhuu began to sing in elementary school, when he got into the ensemble "Veselushki" in one of the cultural centers of Ulan-Ude. All teachers noted the boy's talent and charisma. He performed at all school evenings, was the star of the school and class. After leaving the "Veselushki" Borhuu began to study in the studio of pop vocal "Accent", then perform at competitions of various levels and bring first places.
In 2006, friends sent Amarkhuu to the project "People's Artist - 3". He refused to the last, but in the end he made up his mind and went to the fateful casting in the city of Irkutsk, where the first qualifying round was successfully passed. Then an invitation to Moscow followed, and Amarkhuu Borhuu found himself in the project. Despite all the difficulties, the musician reached the end with dignity - he reached the final of the competition.
In the final, Borhuu sang the song "How Many Good Girls" and won by a huge margin: more than 60% of the live viewers voted for him.
In the same year (2006) Amarkhuu Borhuu became a soloist of the group "Prime Minister", where he sang for 7 years - until 2013, then went on an independent voyage.
Borhuu is currently working on a solo career. He plans to have his own album and a solo concert in Moscow. Music takes the singer all the time, so he didn't have time to get an Amarkhuu family yet. He devotes free minutes to his little hobby - basketball.
