Wedding day is one of the most important and memorable days in the life of a young family. Excitement, thrill, joy, delight - such a spectrum of feelings should certainly be captured in photographs. Particular attention should be paid to the design of the photo album, viewing which will become a mandatory pastime for your guests. It is difficult to surprise with a stunning performance of a photo, because the look of others on the skill of shooting may be different from yours. But you can admire the photo album as a whole if you decorate it with your own hands, making it original.

It is necessary

  • - an album with ordinary sheets of cardboard or magnetic pages;
  • - fabric, braid, tulle, organza;
  • - small rhinestones, small diameter beads, flat beads;
  • - decor (flowers, butterflies, angels, pigeons);
  • - curly and corner punches, stamps, curly scissors;
  • - various types of paper and cardboard, self-adhesive films, plastic films;
  • - stationery glue, glitter transparent glue, glue gun;
  • - pens, scissors, decorative paint, pencils.

Instructions

Step 1

Take a scrapbook and place it on the wrong side of the décor fabric. It can be tapestry with lurex, coated satin, wet silk and other types of fabrics. Use a palette of colors. Carefully trace the open outline of the album with a simple pencil. Leave fabric allowances of 2-3 cm around the entire perimeter, then cut to size. It is advisable to machine the edges of the material by hemming by 0.5 cm.

Step 2

Attach the fabric to the cover, start wrapping it around the album gradually, securing it with glue around the entire perimeter. Use a drip method to apply the glue: dots in the corners of the cover and in the center of the title page. Tighten the inner part of the album, observe the sequence. First glue the bottom edge, then the top, then fold the side, narrowing the edges diagonally. Fit the back of the photobook in the same way. Cuts are made along the top and bottom edges of the fabric in the place where the album is bound.

Step 3

When the cover is ready, you can start decorating. Take a thin white tape, tie a double bow and tie it in the center. Decorate the long ends of the braid with pearl beads. Attach two decorative rings on another piece of the trim or piping. Next, tie the piping to the bow and baste to the fabric with mono thread in several places so that the decoration fits snugly on the cover.

Step 4

Take some rhinestones and attach them to the cover fabric. To add lightness and airiness to the album, use chiffon or organza braid in the form of ruffle. Apply glue to the wrong side of the tape, then apply ruffles around the perimeter of the album so that the lush decor protrudes beyond the edges of the cover.

Step 5

The free space between the photographs on the album sheets should also be decorated. Cut a rectangle out of a piece of blue paper to fit. Pin it to a white background, then lay out two hearts of decorative flowers with the smallest diameter. The smaller and thinner the decor, the neater the album itself will look. Flowers can be secured to the leaf using clear glitter glue

Step 6

Make a romantic paper applique. Use materials of different texture: corrugated paper, film, velvet cardboard. Cut each detail as a template and attach layer by layer to the base of the picture. After the applique is complete, use stamps and paint pillows to draw small drawings onto the finished craft. It is better to use paint that looks like "gold" or "silver". For wedding themes, stamps with the image of rings, doves, hearts, glasses and ribbons are suitable

Step 7

Create eye-catching looks on your album pages. Find the picture you want, such as a dancing couple, so that you can use it as a template. Circle the resulting part and cut out from thick cardboard. Then attach to the album sheet, using a blue pencil, trace the template without pressing on the rod

Step 8

Using a thin outline, shade a section of paper on both sides of the drawing. Stroke width should not exceed 1cm, use a soft pencil. Attach your template to the paper again, exactly as it was outlined. Take a piece of white paper and blend the shading. Using a curly hole punch, cut the cuts on the lilac and blue paper. Place the resulting "confetti" on paper with an overlap on the drawing. Secure the decor with glue. Sprinkle the finished page decoration with glitter varnish.
