As many years ago, and today, children enjoy playing with windmills and turntables, which are set in motion by currents of air. Every child will be able to make his own turntable out of paper, especially if an adult helps in assembling all the elements and fixing them so that the turntable will serve for a long time and work properly.
It is necessary
ruler, pencil, stationery glue, pliers, two wooden sticks for the pinwheel shaft, colored cardboard of different shades, copper or brass wire and two plastic cocktail straws, cut to lengths of 3 and 2 cm, two wooden washers - large and small
Instructions
Step 1
Think of what elements the blades of the turntable will consist of. You can make a spinner in the form of ladybirds, fish and other characters. You can find ready-made blade patterns, or you can come up with your own shapes, draw them on cardboard with contours, and then carefully cut them.
Step 2
Cut through the blades and poke a hole in each with scissors or an awl. Take a wire about 22 cm long and slide a wooden washer over it, then secure one end. On the other end of the wire, put one of the parts of the future turntable.
Step 3
Pull the wire through the middle hole of the blade, then pass it through the middle holes of the second and third blades. Put a straw on the wire and string the short parts of the blades on it in pairs.
Step 4
Spread the blades neatly, shape them and secure the wire to the wooden base. Glue insect, animal, or other objects to the blades.
