Biography
Full name is Anthony Philip Harford. The famous singer was born in the UK in the city of Birmingham, April 19, 1957. Little Philip began his way into music at the age of 7, taking a guitar in his hands for the first time and, perhaps, he would have played the strings with his fingers if he had not joined the group "Legend", but the thing was: the vacancy of the guitarist was occupied, and Tony had to become a soloist. So there was a "job" for his voice. As the singer himself said, he played a large number of instruments: violin, keyboards, bagpipes, drums … Needless to say, how talented this man was, despite the fact that he did not receive a musical education?
Career and creativity
Philip was a member of such groups as "Black Sabbath", "Cozy Powell's Hammer", "Rondinelli", "Aldo Giuntini", "Phenomena", but nowhere, except the first, he did not stay for long. Plus, he kept returning and leaving Black Sabbath. He also wrote 2 solo albums that are still popular among heavy metal fans - Back Where I Belong (1992) and Scream (2005) (after the release of this album, he goes on a European tour). A few years later, the singer announced the release of his third album entitled "Book of Shadows", but nothing came of it and his project was stopped. As far as is known, he is currently collaborating with guitarist Dario Mollo, with whom they plan to release the "fruit" of their labors, called "The Third Cage".
He worked mainly with the genres of rock music, where he made a huge contribution thanks to his work.
