The koala is sometimes called a marsupial bear. It has very little relation to the bearish genus, but outwardly it is a little similar. This is a small fluffy animal. He lives on the branches of eucalyptus, which gives the koala "both a table and a house." You can draw a koala with a simple or gray colored pencil.
How to draw eucalyptus
Consider where your koala will live. He rarely comes down from the tree. Therefore, start the phased drawing with the branches. Better to put your marsupial bear in the crevice between two eucalyptus branches. Lay the sheet upright. Pick the point from which your branches diverge. From the mark, draw one line almost vertically, but with a slight slope to the right, the other - with a slope to the left. Straight lines do not have to be symmetrical. Draw two more parallel to the existing lines. From the point where the branches converge, draw a horizontal line, and then a second one just below.
It is not necessary to draw the details of the branches. You don't need leaves either, although you can draw a couple for the sake of completeness.
Many balls
To draw a koala in stages, consider a picture with an animal. You will see that all parts of the body of the marsupial bear are almost round. Draw a circle between the branches so that it fits between the paths. Draw a smaller circle to the top of the large circle - the head. The ears of the koala are also round, very similar to those of a bear and are located in the same way.
If you draw the diameter of the upper circle vertically, the ears will be located at about a 45 ° angle to it. Draw a horizontal one perpendicular to the vertical diameter. The eyes of the koala are located exactly on this line, approximately in the middle of the segments between the center and the outline. The eyes are round, black and small. They can be painted over immediately. Draw the nose as well - a vertical rectangle running down the center. The expression "face" in any case will be good-natured.
You can paint over the nose immediately with a softer pencil. This is the darkest and most uniform area on the animal's body, so the pencil can be shaded in this place.
Oval feet
The koala has thick legs. They are almost ovals, the folds are almost invisible. Draw the upper paw on a large circle. Start at about the middle of the distance between the outline and the center. The paw crosses the body obliquely. Only the edge is visible from the second upper limb. In general, the paws of a koala look about the same as that of a teddy bear.
The lower limbs also seem like toys. They start from about the middle, run vertically, protrude slightly beyond the circumference. Legs end with oval feet. The long axes of these ovals are almost vertical.
Teddy bear
Koala is a soft fluffy animal. His coat is mostly gray, but has a few white patches. Draw the outlines of the white spots. Shade the rest of the areas with very short lines or just dots. Place the points randomly, with quick movements of the pencil. It is better to take a very soft pencil - 3M or even 4M. In the white areas, draw a few strands of hair with a hard pencil.
