In order to draw a koala, it is necessary to combine the images of a bear, a cat and a Cheburashka in one drawing. In addition, it is worth paying attention to the structural features of the limbs of this marsupial coat color.
Instructions
Step 1
Begin your drawing by constructing construction parts. Draw an elongated oval for the torso and a circle that you will transform into the head. Observe the proportions, the diameter of the circle should be half the length of the oval, because due to the thick fur, the koala's head seems to be quite large. The limbs of this marsupial at the stage of sketching can be outlined with elongated ovals.
Step 2
Draw the koala's face. To do this, by cutting off part of the circle, select a straight long nose. Finish it off with a fairly large area corresponding to the nose, in this area the coat is very short and dense. Draw oval eyes at the level of the upper border of the selected area. Please note that they are quite convex, and the pupil of the koala is vertical. Draw some long hairs at the inner corner of the eye, the edges of the lower and upper eyelids are devoid of vegetation. Draw large diverging nostrils at the tip of the nose.
Step 3
Don't forget your ears. They are rather large, covered with long hair on the outside and along the edge. Keep in mind that males have longer hairs, but females have softer and fuller hair, especially in the lower part of the muzzle.
Step 4
Draw the torso. The skeleton of a koala looks a bit like a skeleton of a cat, so take into account the roundness of the back in the drawing. The entire surface of the body of the marsupial is covered with thick soft wool.
Step 5
Draw the limbs of the koala. Since the main way of finding food is climbing trees, the legs of the koala have been transformed in the process of evolution. On the front limbs, select two fingers (in humans, they correspond to the thumb and index), with the help of which the koala clings to the branches, the rest are not so developed, but all have strong claws. On the hind legs there is only one “working” toe, but it is devoid of a claw, the other four end as usual.
Step 6
Start coloring. For the back, paws and forehead, use a gray color, while highlighting the chest, chin and belly with a lighter shade. The koala's nose is black and gray, and the eyes are brown.
