Any of us in our life at least once dreamed of singing our favorite song beautifully. Everyone has their own capabilities and abilities, their own voice and hearing. But who said that if you have not graduated from the conservatory, then you can only sing in the shower?
Instructions
Step 1
First you need to understand that everyone can sing. It is strictly forbidden to say to yourself: "I have no hearing. I am not at all fit for music. I will never sing anything." Why is that? Yes, because the talent for music, a sense of rhythm and hearing are inherent in the genes of every person, to a greater or lesser extent, because even before music became an art, it was used in everyday life: for example, in ritual dances. For ancient people, singing was a common household occupation, everyone knew the music of his people and was obliged to be able to perform it. So are people worse nowadays? Of course not! Therefore, throw all the bad thoughts out of your head and set yourself up for success.
Step 2
Some general advice on singing technique. First and foremost, never tense the muscles in the larynx (throat) area. There is no need to "tear your throat". We always sing with the help of the abdominal muscles. Find the sensation where you can stretch the note as you exhale, tightening only your stomach (the throat does not constrict). To do this, inhale (not with your chest), and then direct the air in a stream, "column", continuously from the abdomen to the muscles of the mouth. The factor of emotional relaxation is very important here, because if you start to worry, inexperienced muscles will immediately fail.
Step 3
Open the mouth wide, releasing the lower jaw as low as possible to create a dome effect. It should be noted that this situation never changes. Singing the sounds "a" and "o" is easy, because this is their usual position, but with the vowel and "it will be more difficult: you have to sing it as if you were saying" s ". The same is with the vowel "e" - we say the volumetric "e".
Step 4
In the vastness of the Internet and in educational literature, there are a lot of vocal exercises, chants, vocalizations. Take the time to search and read information about them, and then choose a few and try to sing every day, starting with your lowest sounds and ending with high ones. This will help expand the vocal range (the area of opportunity for the song) and make you a stronger singer. The exercises are usually sets of syllables with a primitive melody, such as "ma-me-mi-mo-mu" or "mi-i-i-a-ma".
Step 5
Choose the songs that you like. Passion and zeal for classes is the key to success, because vocal mastery is not achieved in five minutes and not the first time. You will have to work hard, sing and train.
It's worth saying here that you don't need to choose too complicated songs. I do not advise choosing the repertoire of Christina Aguilera, Adam Lambert and other performers with unique strength and scope of voice. Choose a song that is comfortable for you, for example, country music, light pop-rock or bard song.
Step 6
First, the song should be taught with a plus (along with the performer's voice), long and hard to follow so that you perfectly match the singer in every sound. There is no need to "run" the song from beginning to end, learn line by line, repeating each one up to 20-30 times, until it starts to turn out more or less accurately and melodiously. I also advise you to combine gradually, first two lines, then four, and so on. When you decide that you are singing a song quite confidently, try to include a backing track. I say right away, listen carefully to see if you are singing cleanly. If not, stop and teach this place a lesson: fake notes spoil the impression.
