Viktor Tsoi is a legendary musician. With his wife Marianne, he lived in legal marriage for more than 10 years, and then left the family. The reason was his infatuation with another woman.
Marianna - the wife of Viktor Tsoi
Viktor Tsoi was born in Leningrad. Since childhood, he was fond of music. In the mid-70s of the last century, he became known in narrow circles thanks to the apartment bookings, which were held by Mike Naumenko and Andrey Panov. At one of these meetings, he met the only official wife, Marianne. Victor has always been a modest person, with difficulty finding words to communicate with unfamiliar people. Active and bright Marianne liked him. He asked for a phone number, and the girl wrote it on a piece of paper with lipstick. Choi called the very next day and this is how their romance began.
Marianna Kovaleva was born and raised in Leningrad. She moved in a circle of musicians, artists, led a bohemian lifestyle. At the time of meeting with nineteen-year-old Victor, who had no experience of serious relationships with women, she was already 24 years old, she managed to get married and divorced. Rodovanskaya is the surname of Marianne by her first husband.
The girl worked in a circus in a good position. She recalled the first meetings with Victor with great warmth. At that time, Choi was a poor musician who received small royalties from apartment owners. He invited Marianne to walk in the park, because there was no money even for a cafe. A year after they met, Victor was able to rent a room in a communal apartment and invited his beloved to live together. The musician's father Robert Tsoi recalled that Marianne was impulsive, assertive, and also unusually active. She skillfully guided Victor to achieve his goals. This woman became for him not only a lover, but also a faithful friend, a muse. Many famous songs have been written about her, including the famous song "When Your Girlfriend Is Sick".
Marianna came up with an image for the members of the "Kino" group, took out costumes and administered the concerts of the musicians, and later acted as a producer. The popularity of the rock band grew. In 1984, the lovers got married. Victor's mother believed that Marianne herself married her son. For this reason, the relationship between the daughter-in-law and the mother-in-law has always been strained.
In 1985, Marianna gave birth to Victor's son Alexander. The rock musician dreamed of a child and spent all his free time with him, of which there was less and less. Sasha's birth coincided with the peak of Kino's popularity. The musicians toured extensively not only in their homeland, but also traveled abroad. Later, Marianne admitted that she regretted the time spent on rock music. She wanted to engage in creativity, self-development. Only at the age of 40 did she realize her dream by graduating from the Faculty of Oriental Studies at St. Petersburg University.
Another woman
In 1987, the marriage of Marianne and Victor broke up. The musician met another woman on the set of the movie "Assa". This woman was Natalya Razlogova, an assistant director. Natalia and Marianna were so different that close people were surprised how Victor could like such diametrically opposite types. The new lover grew up in a wealthy family of diplomats, received a good education and had an amazing ability to self-control.
Victor honestly admitted to Marianne that he fell in love with another. He even decided to introduce the two women by booking a table at a restaurant. Marianne later admitted that at that moment she felt an incomparable mental pain.
Tsoi lived with Natalia Razlogova for 3 years. With his first wife, he never officially filed for a divorce. According to one version, he made such a decision because of Sasha's son, but some people from his inner circle assure that the wife herself pulled with the divorce, did not want to let him go, and Tsoi had plans to marry Natalya.
How was the fate of the beloved women of Viktor Tsoi
Viktor Tsoi died on August 15, 1990. He died in a car accident while driving his car. The funeral was attended by both of his beloved women - Marianna and Natalya.
After the death of the musician, Marianna devoted herself to raising her son, publishing memorable discs and books, as well as installing monuments to Tsoi and preserving his heritage. The woman no longer married officially, but for a long time she lived with her common-law husband Alexander Aksenov, known in musical circles under the pseudonym Ricochet. Marianne produced it and two other rock artists. She also managed to write several books. The last years of her life, the widow of Tsoi painted pictures.
Marianne and her son did not need money. After the death of Tsoi, she became the owner of 50% of the copyright for all the albums of the group. Thanks to her efforts, several collections devoted to Tsoi's work were published, as well as a double tribute record "KINO Probes". Other popular musicians performed the songs "Kino" on it. Marianna survived Viktor Tsoi by only 15 years. She died of cancer in 2005.
Natalia Razlogova remained silent for over 20 years. She did not give interviews, and later married, emigrated to the United States. In 2012, she reminded of herself by releasing a documentary dedicated to the memory of Viktor Tsoi.
