Composing vocal or instrumental music has ceased to be an elite affair. Now almost everyone can do composition, and the choice of means and methods is more difficult than the composition itself. The easiest option is to create a track in an audio editor.

It is necessary
- A computer;
- Audio editor (in the example “Adobe Audition”)
- Music or MIDI editor;
- A set of VST plugins and tools;
- Basic knowledge in the field of information technology;
- Primary music education.
Instructions
Step 1
Decide on the number of instruments that will be played in the future track. These can be violins, guitars, pianos, etc.

Step 2
Compose and select the part for each instrument in the music editor. Follow the nature of the instrument, do not compose a bass line for violin and vice versa, do not compose a melody for bass guitar too high.

Step 3
Export each instrument to an audio file (.wav format or similar).

Step 4
Open all files in a sound editor. Choose from VST plug-ins and instruments the Voices that suit your song.

Step 5
Process each file with the VST plug-in selected for the specific instrument.

Step 6
Listen to the result. If you are satisfied with the result, export the track to an audio file and save the session in the audio editor, then close.
